To Dock or not.
I get asked a lot if the DockAtot is worth the money. And I am here to tell you... YES, YES IT IS. Although we aren't using it for sleeping anymore, it's like the gift that keeps on giving. At the beginning, the boys slept swaddled in their Docks. It was really convenient for traveling because we didn't need a pack n play. We went to Texas for two weeks when the boys were 2.5 months old and brought them with us. You can lay them on the bed, on the floor, on the couch, etc. Traveling with a baby can be very stressful, but I feel like training the boys to sleep in their DockAtots took one stress out of the equation.
Now that they are sleeping in their cribs, we use the DockAtots for play time. I really love the new toy bars and toy sets and so do the boys. If I need to get something done like a little laundry or start dinner, I always put them on the floor in the living room in their Docks and turn on PraiseBaby. Works like a charm and gives you about 20 ish minutes to accomplish whatever it is that you need to do.
Now that the boys are 6 months old, it has also been nice to use for practicing sitting up and tummy time. They HATE tummy time, so propping them up on the edge of the DockAtot has made it a little more bearable. And I don't worry about them hitting the floor if they fall sideways when we are trying to work on sitting up.
If you are a new mom or expecting a baby soon, I highly recommend adding this to your registry. And for all the twin moms to be out there, this is one of those things you need two of.
